The health benefits of eating LENTILS

Whoever knows me also knows that during winter I am big lover of healthy soups and stews.


I told you in one of my previous posts that I have fibroids, so I have (or at least I try) to be really careful when it comes to my diet.

Indeed, when you have fibroids, you tend to have heavy periods (especially on the 1st and 2nd day), and you are also bloating a lot around that time of the month.

one of the result of suffering from heavy periods is a drop of your iron level.

A good way to gain it back and stabilize it is by eating lentils.

lentils are low in calories, rich in iron, fiber and protein.
