Kicking off Summer with a HEALTHY breakfast
The lockdown is over in Toronto!!! Summer is officially here!!
I am so happy!
I can't wait to start walking outside 3 times a week for at least 1h (sometimes I do it for 1h30).
A lot of you asked me how I keep my hair and my skin healthy.
It's not just about the cosmetics you use. It also starts with the food you eat (for example, during breakfast).
Also, with summer time, don't forget to go outside and get that vitamin D from the sun!
This morning I decided to have a glass of fruit juice (need that Vitamin C) with a bowl of oatmeal, strawberries and banana.
- oatmeal helps lower the level of blood sugar, and also decreases the risk of cholesterol and heart disease. it's also a good source of fiber and iron
- I actually bought the organic strawberries at the store. When I was checking the health facts of strawberries, I read that they are a good source of water, vitamin C, folate (vitamin B9) and potassium
- and of course, bananas are a good source of vitamins, potassium, fiber and magnesium
