Are you getting enough sleep?
I really wanted to write something about this subject cause sleep can be both the cure and cause of health issues.
I think last time I read about it, it was recommended to have at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night, but you guys can check and correct me if I am wrong of course.
See, I had the experience to teach/tutor students (from elementary to high school level). Although I know how at the end of the day or the week, you are tired as a student from all that work load from school; there were still some times when I wondered if some of them were getting enough sleep.
I actually think all that new technology is making the kids getting less and less sleep. I know every generation is evolving with is own level of progress, but kids these days are really addicted to those smartphones, tablets, video-games. And let's not talk about the dominance of social media in their life (I can't even keep up with the number of all these platforms out there).
Research actually has shown that the blue light coming out of those electronic devices is not good when use way too long and especially so close your eyes.
Basically, by the time they get to school, they are tired because they did not get enough sleep and cannot focus at school.
What happened to reading a book and playing outside?
