A nice VEAL STEW to keep you warm during winter

There is nothing like a good home cooked meal especially at this time of the year. Plus I am someone who loves to  cook and eat at home as you can see. It's a lot more flavorfull, it's healthier and also cheaper.

I love eating stews during winter. I made this one with veal cause the meat is a lot more tender compared to beef in my opinion. For this recipe you will need: -1 onion -some garlic -2 tomatoes that will crush -3 potatoes -2 carrots -some sweat peas

1) season the meat with some salt, pepper and garlic and let it marinate in the fridge for some time. you can also add a little bit of parsley if you want to. Trust me, a dish always tastes better when you let the meat sit in the fridge with some seasoning.

2) cut the onion and garlic and very tiny pieces and keep it aside for now

3) crush the 2 tomatoes and keep it aside for the stew later on

4) chop and steam 3 potatoes, 2 carrots, and add some sweat peas

5) when you are ready for the show, heat some oil in a cooking pan and when the oil is hot enough, throw the chunks of veal in there. You should hear the meat sizzle and after a minute, a nice smell should start to come out of that pan. A few more minutes after, you will see the veal chunks turn into a nice brown color. I always can't resist and like to taste a piece at that moment. It's just mmmmmmmmh!!

6) remove the meat from the pan and add the onion and garlic that you choped earlier. When they turn into a nice caramel color, add the 2 tomatoes that you crushed

7) a few minutes later, taste the sauce first to make sure the sourness of the tomatoes is gone then pour a substansive amount of water. Add your veal and then your steamed vegetable. Turn down the heat

8) when you feel like the texture is thick enough, that means it's ready.

BON APPETIT!!!
